# Set triage on selected devices

> Apply in_triage to a selected device set.

Exiting triage (in_triage=False) also clears triage_ticket_url -- the
cycle is over, so the current child ticket link no longer applies.
parent_ticket_url is left untouched: it is the durable per-device record
and survives across triage cycles. This applies to every caller,
including an operator's manual exit-triage in the UI, not only CHAD's
write-back exit -- documented explicitly since it is a behaviour change
to an endpoint that predates it (FLEET-1585).
