# Relationship: deployment-readiness-dashboard

> The deployment-readiness dashboard as a read-only consumer of Fleet Manager.

* **Kind:** Projection
* **Version:** 1
* **Fleet Manager owner:** Fleet Manager squad, #fleet-manager-chat (individual claimant pending)
* **Counterpart owner:** unassigned, DevEx (owns the UI) with Deployment Engineering as the consumer
* **Last reviewed:** 2026-09-09

## What flows

A read-only dashboard aggregating [device](../start-here/glossary#node), job, health, condition and topology state for deployment approvals.
Its client holds read scopes only: organisations, sites, locations, racks, devices, device types and roles,
workflows, jobs, job device status, topology groups, operations, device conditions and fault snapshots.

## What breaks if this changes

Status enum or condition changes alter what the dashboard reports as ready; the published state reference in
[Device State Machines](../developer-guide/device-state-machines) is the contract it should read against.

## Enforcement

* **Principal:** `deployment-readiness-dashboard`.
* **Mechanism:** FM OAuth client (private-key JWT) in the hub chart roster; the chart issues its cert-manager
  certificate and copies the certificate and key to [1Password](../start-here/glossary#1password).
* Hub roster client `deployment-readiness-dashboard` in `deployment/charts/hub/values.yaml`.

## Gaps

* No pact or contract test; the dashboard repository has no `CODEOWNERS`.

## Change log

* 2026-09-09 v1: created; describes present behaviour.
